WHEN YOU’RE EATING HEALTHY, WHAT IS A TYPICAL…

BREAKFAST: Smoothie (spinach, strawberry, mango. It’s basically ice cream).
LUNCH: A salad or grain bowl
DINNER: Fish with rice and some vegetables. Anything I can quickly stir fry.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS/RESTAURANTS TO EAT HEALTHY?

Westville is great, they have a really wide selection and it’s healthy but actually has flavor and tastes great.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INDULGENCE?

It’s definitely candy, but lately I’ve also been having more chocolate ice cream craving than usual. I can’t resist Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS/RESTAURANTS TO INDULGE?

Always Italian, I love Bar Pitti, Piccola Cucina, and L’Artusi.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR LAST MEAL ON EARTH?

My mom’s couscous with grilled fish.

I’ve been trying to learn my mom’s couscous recipe, it’s getting there!

WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS REGIMEN? (how often & what you do)

I used to be big into boutique studios (I worked at SoulCycle before launching BEHAVE), but since quarantine I love an early evening run and have gotten into some of the at-home workouts like Forward Space (dance cardio) and Chloe Ting.

WHAT IS YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE? (products, facials, etc)

I try to keep it really simple - I use cleanser - It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser - and sunscreen - Supergoop Play Everyday - in the morning, and the same cleanser + a prescription topical retinoid - Tretinoin - and a moisturizer with Hyrulonic Acid - Neutrogena Hydro Boost - at night. And I try to drink a ton of water. 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MAKEUP/NATURAL BEAUTY PRODUCTS?

Glossier Boy Brow has really become my biggest staple. I also use Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi drops, a tint you add to moisturizer or sunscreen - it’s super light weight. And I like Glossier’s Haloscope highlighter.

IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND, WHAT 3 PRODUCTS WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Skin Ceuticals Light Moisture Sunscreen, Ouai Hair Oil, and a wooden wide tooth hair comb.

WHAT PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY/HEALTH/FITNESS/SPIRITUAL GURUS DO YOU SWEAR BY?

Rachel Warren’s class at Forward Space was my version of church pre-quarantine. Now I follow their at-home workouts. I also joined the cults of both Chloe Ting and Tasha Franken for at-home workouts during quarantine.

That we never really grow up. I used to think there was a destination called being grown up and when you reached it you’d have all the answers. Now I understand that we’re all in a constant state of growth and learning. 

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY.

Woken up by sunlight through the window, spend the day at the beach, lunch by the water, afternoon nap in the sand, dinner with close friends, dancing until the next morning.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE GLOW TIP/SECRET?

Drink water. Everything (skin, mood, mental clarity) is better when I’m drinking a lot of water.
