Parachute Home

You spend 1/3 of your life in bed, so your sleep experience should be top priority. We strongly agree with Ariel Kaye, founder of Parachute home, that buying bedding should be as enjoyable as your best night of sleep. To put it simply, we are obsessed with Parachute Home bedding. These magnificent (and reasonably affordable!) sheets are manufactured using the finest long-staple Egyptian cotton, combed with precision to remove all impurities and dyed naturally in a process that surpasses the highest safety and environmental protection standards. It is guaranteed that the bedding will feel extremely soft upon arrival and continue to soften over time with use. We both use these luxurious sheets on our bed and couldn't ask for anything glowier :)

We went to meet up with Ariel at the Parachute headquarters in Venice Beach, where the collection is designed. If you happen to find yourself in this area, you would be wise to make an appointment to visit as well. Located in the dreamiest little beach house, just a stone's throw away from the ocean, this bedding showroom is as glowy as it gets people. To make things even more special, everything is manufactured in Tuscany and delivered directly to you. The shipping process is super simple making things on your end as easy as can be.

Parachute products are manufactured by true artisans who have been making world class bedding for over 60 years. Their passion for linens is demonstrated through their attention to detail and impeccable craftsmanship. Combining heritage quality with modern sensibilities-- this brand just kills the bedding game. From pillowcases that have a back envelope closure instead of the traditional side opening (with excess fabric that looks messy) to bedding bundles for those who prefer to sleep sans top sheet, they offer thoughtful design details that are uniquely Parachute. Opt for a cool and crisp sensation with Percale or a soft and smooth sensation with Sateen-- or mix and match, you really can't go wrong.

We asked owner Ariel what inspired her to create Parachute:

"Years ago while traveling through Italy, I found herself in a picturesque hotel on the Amalfi coast. After a long day of travel, I got to my room ready to unwind. I pulled back the duvet, arranged the pillows to my liking and crawled into bed...and found perfection that I didn’t know existed. Those sumptuous sheets were softer than anything I had ever felt. People may say ignorance is bliss, but I say bliss is bliss.

I returned home from Italy on a quest for that perfection. It was a search that left me frustrated, confused and disappointed. Would I really have to spend a month of rent to recreate my perfect Italian sleep experience?

They say if you can’t find it, create it. And so I did. Parachute was imagined as a way to deliver premium quality bedding at an affordable price. To put an end to confusing marketing gimmicks like thread count, and to create new options – such as bundles without a top sheet – that have never previously existed. I believe you shouldn’t lose sleep trying to get the best sleep."
