Tara was excited to check out the whole onefinestay experience during her last trip to London. The customer service team helped her find the perfect one bedroom flat in Bayswater, Porchester Square IV. This flat, overlooking the stunning Porchester Square park lined with colorful blooms and perfectly manicured flower beds, really had everything we needed. The open-plan living area, reclaimed-wood open kitchen, cozy couch, pristine bathroom, and teal velvet bed all on a simple white backdrop couldn't have been more perfect. The flat was made even more homey with the help have colorful and vibrant accents and paintings. Having a kitchen especially made us feel right at home, particularly because of the fact that we could make hot water with lemon in the mornings just like usual :)

Along with the perfect layout, the flat came with amenities that made us feel right at home. When we arrived to the flat, we were greeted by one of the onefinestay team members who showed us everything we needed to know about the home as well as explained the 24/7 concierge service accompanying the stay. This personal contact makes a world of difference-- to know that someone is within reach definitely adds a level of local comfort you want when you're traveling. With a washer/dryer in the unit, coffee machine, a little fridge, and an in-flat iPhone + onefinestay app (which comes with every onefinestay experience), you've really got the bases covered. In particular, the iPhone made us feel super connected to where we were staying by giving us first-hand local experience right at our fingertips. With details on the home, the area, and a map of local spots to checkout via GPS, this iPhone kept us in tap. We can’t wait to explore more onefinestays all around the world!

LONDON Glow Guide pt. 2:

Ivy Chelsea Garden // Chic + posh all in one. This all day eatery is most special for it's beautiful design and outdoor patio / orangery. When the weather's nice, this is a great spot to come for a bit. The truffle chips are delish and so are the drinks.

Snaps and Rye // This Danish eatery in Notting Hill and takeaway will transport you straight to Copenhagen. Get yourself some Smørrebrød toast, (highly suggest the house-cured salmon & the boiled egg with roasted tomatoes) with a side house-made pickles, and you'll be good to glow. The dish-ware, bowls, and Danish bits and bobs are reason alone to visit!

Lavender Home // Japanese heaven on Portobello St.! From stickers, to cards, to stationary,  pens, and notebooks, if you're into kawaii Japanese goods, this is the store for you. They also carry stunning traditional origami and hand-made Japanese printed paper that makes for lovely crafting DIY.

Kyoto garden in Holland Park // Holland Park is one of London's finest, and the Kyoto Garden is nothing but peaceful and beautiful. The stunning peacocks are also super friendly too :)

British Museum // The Rosetta Stone is reason enough to visit the British Museum. It's a very beautiful structure that shouldn't be missed.

Labour & Wait // From hardware to clothing, this is where you find British simplicity at its best. Honestly made goods with purpose, functionality, and simple design done perfectly-- you can find everyday classics that will make your life better.

Honey & Co. // Food from the Middle East made in the glowiest way possible, by a husband and wife duo. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sweet takeaways in a tiny and charming space in Fitzrovia-- wish they had one in LA! The breakfast is just beyond-- shakshuka, granola, feta cheese and potato hot pocket burekka, and marzipan cookies. Mmmmmm.

High tea at Sketch Gallery Room // Pink on pink on pink. This perfectly pink gallery room has some of the best high tea ever. The sandwiches are so delectable and the sweets even more delicious. Get yourself some of the budding rose petal tea (and some rosé if you're feeling it!) and you'll be in heaven.
