Alisal Ranch Resort // Firestone Sisters Retreat
Jessie had the pleasure of spending three nights in Santa Barbara's wine country at the The Alisal Ranch Resort. Under the wing of the lovely Firestone sisters and inspiring healers Gianna De La Torre and Naada Guerra, this retreat was unforgettably glowy.
Alisal is a stunning oasis for a solo getaway, group retreat or family vacation. Spread over 10,000 awe-inspiring acres, tucked into the Santa Ynez Valley, this place is perfect for connecting to nature while still feeling comfortable and pampered. Drive 30 minutes north of Santa Barbara and you’ll find Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort’s 50 miles of riding trails, 100-acre spring-fed lake, two 18-hole championship golf courses, tennis courts, pool, spa, glowy western-themed cabins, fine dining, and endless ways to unplug and unwind.
The Firestone sisters brought an awesome group together to kick off wine country's Harvest Season by igniting our own personal harvest in a stunning setting surrounded by inspired and supportive women. We were guided through deep personal work led by powerful and relatable energy healers, Naada Guerra and Gianna de la Torre. Sessions focused on manifesting our inner-most desires and letting go of what no longer serves us to make room for the creation of all that we do want! We were each encouraged to take an honest look at our limiting belief systems and ways that our programmed language minimizes our innate power to create. For example, many women begin sentences with, "I think" or "Maybe" instead of flat-out stating their belief with confidence. This simple change in the way we speak can have a profound difference in the energy our words carry.
When we weren't busy in manifesting workshops, we were out wining and dining...yup, obviously our type of retreat! We explored wine country's beautiful vineyards and got to experience some delicious tastings with the passionate wine-makers themselves. We spent one really special afternoon in Los Olivos, the most charming gem of a town that we encourage everyone to venture to if you haven't done so already.
The Firestone Sisters have really nailed that magical balance of fun, indulgence and pleasure mixed with health, spiritual discovery and growth -- clearly in line with our mission at How You Glow. We look forward to enjoying more of their retreats and returning back to dreamy Alisal Guest Ranch in the near future.
