Springtide Nails, created by Heather Greene, is far and away the glowiest nail destination in Santa Barbara. You will feel at ease the moment you enter this beautifully designed oasis; a space focused on good vibes and clean, non-toxic nail care. The gorgeous chairs are incredibly comfortable making your pedicure even that much more indulgent. You will be in good hands, as the nail technicians are extremely skilled and their attention to detail is second to none. The staff is comprised of some of the kindest humans that radiate incredible energy. We were super excited to try their vegan, 10-free gel manicure and trust us, it did not disappoint… you will never go back to regular gels again after trying these. We are hooked and will absolutely be making this a regular part of our self-care routine. I love dinner at Oliver’s (vegan spot) and the salad bar at Savoy is a great way to eat the rainbow on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the salad bar is temporarily suspended due to Covid ☹

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INDULGENCE?

A big bowl of pasta.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS/RESTAURANTS TO INDULGE?

I love having cocktails and the dip duo at Honor Bar and mushroom tacos (with much guacamole) at Los Agaves.

WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS REGIMEN? (how often & what you do)

I love love love hot yoga at Corepower in Santa Barbara. The heat, the flow, the music, everything just clicks for me. So therapeutic for body and mind. I like to practice yoga 3-4 days a week and go for long walks or jogs 2x week.

WHAT IS YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE? (products, facials, etc)

My skincare regimen is simple as my skin tends to be reactive to too many products. I am currently experimenting with clean serums but generally I use a gentle face wash and True Botanicals face oil daily.

WHAT IS YOUR SELF-CARE ROUTINE?

I like to begin my mornings slowly with green tea and a little meditation. Beyond that my days are very unstructured so I stay grounded through regular exercise and time outdoors. I always block off some unscheduled ‘me’ time on the weekends.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MAKEUP/NATURAL BEAUTY PRODUCTS?

Honestly I’m still on the hunt for my favorites. Currently experimenting with Kjaer Weis organic makeup.

IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND, WHAT 3 PRODUCTS WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Sunscreen, True Botanicals face oil and lots of lip balm.


WHAT PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY/HEALTH/FITNESS/SPIRITUAL GURUS DO YOU SWEAR BY?

There’s no one person in particular, but I love taking in podcasts and websites like yours and Goop that aggregate the latest and greatest in the realm of wellbeing.

There’s a book called True Balance by Sonia Choquette that I always have on my bedside table. It helps to contextualize physical and emotional imbalances you may be experiencing and gives helpful tools to regain balance.

Probably my education, which was a gift from my parents.

MOST PROFOUND HEALING EXPERIENCE YOU’VE EVER HAD?

There have been many. My parents introduced me to a spiritual guru from India when I was a teenager and the poignancy of that experience and the opportunity to visit India on several occasions definitely shifted my worldview and kept spirituality at the forefront of my course in life.

WHO ARE YOUR MOST TRUSTED HEALERS?

For me, healing has come through the strength of the relationships around me. Feeling seen, loved and supported during trying and bright times.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE YOU’VE HAD TO FACE AND WHAT DID YOU TAKE AWAY FROM IT?

I’ve definitely had to learn that things take their own time. You can’t always strongarm circumstances to fulfill the timeline or outcome you had in mind. Sometimes, when meeting resistance repeatedly it’s best to pivot for a moment to focus on something else.

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY. 

Waking up rested, no alarm clock. Slow morning at home drinking tea. Sweaty workout. Lots of time outside. Dinner at my place with my favorite people.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE GLOW TIP/SECRET??

Trust your own intuition. The more you check in with your own heart and inner being and honor the guidance you receive, the stronger your intuition becomes. When you’re making choices from this place, your life becomes more closely aligned with your authentic self and fulfillment follows.
