NEELY + CHLOE
Based in NYC, Neely + Chloe is the emponymys creation of sisters Chloe and Neely Burch. The sisters saw an opportunity to reimagine an archaic industry that encouraged low quality, unsustainable fast fashion. They found there was a void to be filled between affordable accessories and luxury brands.
In 2014, Neely and Chloe (age 23 + 22, respectively) purchased a 1930's airstream to create a mobile retail boutique featuring brands including Tory Burch, Superga, Dolce Vita etc.. Over the course of one year, they hosted 50+ pop-ups on college campuses along the East Coast (as south as Georgia!). This quickly became a year of market research -- they learned what these college students liked, wanted and couldn't afford -- a luxe-like, timeless, affordable handbag.
Alas in 2016, Neely and Chloe formed a lifestyle accessories brand targeting the All-American sophisticated millennial. Luxury bag, season-less, timeless and a cap price point of $350 -- they also can personalize every item. They make precious things, items of quality and beauty, that are to be used for years. We beleive that great design stirs our emotional connection to a product. The mark of luxury is not its price or a logo — it is the inherant beauty, quality, and usefulness of something special and worth keeping. Luxury should never be out of reach. Their line bags and shoes redefine luxury.

WHEN YOU’RE EATING HEALTHY, WHAT IS A TYPICAL…
BREAKFAST: Some sort of eggs if I have time! I usually go for scrambled with a little cheddar cheese and add avocado. If not, I usually eat a granola bar on the go. I have been told “GoMacro” bars are the healthiest so I have been buying those. I think the peanut butter chocolate chip is my favorite.
LUNCH: A salad from sweet green is usually my go to. I usually make it with Kale, Chicken, cabbage, beets, avocado, and balsamic vinaigrette.
DINNER: My fiancé is a great cook so I lucked out with that. He makes the best salmon with a side of veggies. We have this great salmon rub or we do a teriyaki salmon. I like my salmon medium well (all restaurants recommend medium but for some reason I like it cooked all the way through!).
SNACK: Apple and Peanut Butter
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS/RESTAURANTS TO EAT HEALTHY?
There is a great sushi spot called Hibino in our neighborhood that has really fresh, healthy sushi. Westville is also always a great spot where you can get lots of veggies. Their artichoke quinoa burger is so good!

Running a marathon! Running really helps me with stress. If I’m in a bad mood or upset, I go on a run and it really helps. I’ve run three marathons and hopefully will run a few more! I have also learned to put my phone on Do Not Disturb from 10pm-930am and it’s amazing to just forget about being on your phone all the time.

WHERE DO YOU GROCERY SHOP?
Mostly online! Amazon Fresh or Fresh Direct
TOP 3 ITEMS YOU ALWAYS HAVE IN YOUR KITCHEN?
Almond milk, N’espresso coffee pods and a little bit of dark chocolate. I really like pretzel and sea salt Bark Thins.
WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS REGIMEN? (how often & what you do)
I work out (hopefully) around 4-5 days a week. Lately I’ve been swimming! I find it so much easier to get lost in a swimming work out than running. I have a nifty little waterproof iPod and either listen to a podcast (like How I Built This) orrrr some rap depending on my mood.
WHAT IS YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE? (products, facials, etc.)
I used to be a pretty low maintenance gal, but have pushed myself to do a little more in the last few years. I start with rinsing my face in the morning, then a little vitamin C serum (skin ceuticals) followed by moisturizer with SPF 50 (Image skin care). I’ve become crazy about SPF!! Then at night (usually post shower) I do a little hyaluronic serum and a night cream heaviness varying depending on the time of year. Right now I’m trying out Caudalie’s Brightening Glycolic night cream. I have been testing out retinols as well and dipping my toe in there. I’ve found Skin Ceutical’s 0.5 works for me in the winter and isn’t too too drying.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MAKEUP/NATURAL BEAUTY PRODUCTS?
I’m not a huuuuge make up girl, if I end up with mascara on, it’s a good day. I really like Herbivore Botanical’s products.
IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND, WHAT 3 PRODUCTS WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU?
SPF!!!! A hairbrush to avoid dreadlocks. And I think my Waso by Sheseido Exfoliating scrub.
WHAT PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY/HEALTH/FITNESS/SPIRITUAL GURUS DO YOU SWEAR BY?
I’m a sucker for Goop and Gweneth Paltrow. I think some of it is a little far out for me, but for the most part I’m ready to buy in- I’m a little bit of a sucker. I also think she’s an incredibly shrewd business woman.
TOP 3 FAVORITE SONGS?
Currently- Everybody’s Got Their Something- Nikka Costa (finding it motivating!!), anything Kacey Musgraves (I’m not a country gal, but something about it just gets me every time), and Oogum Boogum Song by Brenton Wood.
MOST-WATCHED MOVIE?
Honestly, I’m more of a TV girl and I think it would have to be Downton Abbey- I’m all in on period pieces. Three times through would be a conservative estimate…. Interestingly, I didn’t like the movie- not enough time for that slow build drama.
MOST LIFE-CHANGING BOOK?
Ugh I just finished Beneath a Scarlet Sky and it was incredible.
FAVORITE SHOPS/BOUTIQUES?
Anything on Dixie Highway in Palm Beach- Latest fave is Devonshire- so many good finds.
COOLEST PLACE YOU’VE EVER VISITED?

MOST PROFOUND HEALING EXPERIENCE YOU’VE EVER HAD?
I’ve started using a meditating app and feel like it has really helped me to settle and feel recharged for my day.
WHO ARE YOUR MOST TRUSTED HEALERS?
Is it possible it’s my dog?? Winnie always makes me feel a little more centered and grounded and somehow puts problems into perspective (all without saying a word!).
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE YOU’VE HAD TO FACE AND WHAT DID YOU TAKE AWAY FROM IT?
Learning to manage people. I don’t think I ever realized how challenging it was going to be- it is almost certainly the most difficult part of my job. It’s really taught me to be more open to different approaches and mindsets. I’ve realized more often than not, the best end result is the work of many with different thought processes and skill sets.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY.
I would somehow feel the way I feel when I wake up at 10 but pop up out of bed by 6 AM. Have coffee with my fiancé and puppy, Winnie. Work out. Relax on my couch- read a little or check a few small things off my to do list. Spend the afternoon outside (because of course it would be a balmy 75 and sunny with a light breeze) and then have a long outdoor dinner with friends, lots of wine and great stories.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE GLOW TIP/SECRET?
Lean on others and let them help where they can (I’m not very good at this but it always feels so good when I do).
