Luncheon with Mama and Tata + Goop + Yumi
Step inside the DREAMIEST luncheon of all time that we hosted with Mama and Tata, Goop and Yumi. We are still glowing from such a beautiful day spent together in a magical setting with empowering women that we love and admire.
A few weeks ago we helped Candice Miller of Mama and Tata celebrate her LA Guide launch by co-hosting a gorgeous seasonal Autumn luncheon along with our friends at Goop and chic baby food brand YUMI. The event was held at the breathtaking Beverly Park home of our friends Ali Kay and Alex Von Furstenberg, a drop-dead gorgeous back drop for our lovely get together.
As guests mingled upon arrival to the picturesque home, they sipped on a special artisanal pastel pink coctail made with all natural California Chareau aloe liquer, rosé and fresh rosemary. Seriously, as glowy as it gets!
The table, situated adjacent to an infinity pool overlooking all of Los Angeles, was decorated to perfection by the most talented Keren Precel of Simply Perfect Events using exquisite floral designs from our favorite Venice based floral company, Fiore Designs. Lush autumnal florals mixed with luscious Fall fruits created the dreamiest Fall tablescape. Guests, a heavy hitter list of women-bosses who are also mostly LA moms, were asked to set their intentions for the new season, sharing goals both personal and professional, so that everyone could help lift each other up in the spirit of collaboration.
The menu, an original handpainted watercolor design by Saltwater Scripts, was curated with the help of Goop food editor Thea Baumman, and executed by our favorite LA caterers, Haute Chefs LA. The food was absolutely delicious; Fattoush salad with za’atar flatbread, grilled wild salmon, roasted beets with Majorani lebneh and sesame herbed rice salad with currants and pistachios. Dessert was a pumpkin pie using Yumi’s organic recipe.
Guests left with Yumi “We Do It For The Babes’ totes filled with Goops “The Motherload” Vitamins, their new Goop perfume and GoldfadenMD skincare products. The entire event was produced by the extremely talented Keren of Simply Perfect Events, who made the lunch a seamless success from start to finish.
