Emily L'Ami // Bodha Modern Wellness
Emily L'Ami, founder of Bodha Modern Wellness, embodies what it means to live a grounding and natural lifestyle. With her line of wellness products, she spreads her glow by allowing you to come back to yourself.
According to Emily, feeling a sense of connection to yourself is fundamental to living an authentic and meaningful life. As she says, "when you feel connected to yourself you live from an intuitive space that's calm, strong & creative." She created Bodha Modern Wellness products to help others create this exact connection.
We couldn't relate more to her mission-- in order to radiate out your glow into the world, you first need to cultivate a positive inner-environment. Taking time for self-care includes making your home into a sanctuary that provides a sense of calm and grounding. Bodha's modern wellness products are designed to help you come back to yourself through the power of ritual and aromatherapy and us glowgirls are 100% on board.
Bodha products set the bar extremely high with their attention to detail, gorgeous design, and extremely high standards for ingredients and production. The incense are really next level #glowy-- made from the finest organic woods & essential oils, with no fillers or additives for a gentle fragrance & smokeless burn. We both use them daily, lighting them when we're home to help calm, ground, purify and refresh our space. We're particular obsessed with the ground and calm scents, we can't get enough!!
You can truly feel that these products are made with love and care. They're crafted using traditional methods on a small island in Japan and beautifully presented in custom designed boxes, packed by hand in Emily's Los Angeles studio. Useful, thoughtful and beautiful, we guarantee that Bodha will become a staple in your home.
The stunning woman behind Bodha, Emily L'Ami, is one of our absolute favorite women in LA. Winning the Green Card Lottery, she and her handsome #glowboy designer husband Fred took a chance and moved to Los Angeles from their native New Zealand. She radiates good vibes and kindness, and truly embodies what we mean by "glow." Bodha is the expression of Emily's lifelong fascination with ritual & aromatherapy. Being raised in New Zealand, her passion for natural wellness was instilled early on through her parent's practice of yoga, meditation, macrobiotics and naturopathy. She was driven by a desire to help people reconnect with themselves she founded Bodha in 2013. Bringing together natural wellness, ceremony & intention, Emily has designed her dream collection of modern wellness products our of her Los Angeles studio that we had the pleasure of visiting.
We visited Emily and Fred for tea time, and lucky for us, Emily made her Nana's special Lamington's along with fresh whipped cream and raw raspberry chia jam. Get the full recipe here.
