Cookbook

Cookbook is the dreamiest little market in Echo Park. Tiny as a jewel box, this place is glowing with the freshest produce and specialty foods that will make your eyes light up and your mouth water.  Cookbook is as boutique as it gets when it comes to markets. You get the feeling here that someone has thoughtfully hand-selected each carrot, each beet, each leaf of kale--and whoever's doing the picking has done good! In addition to fresh vegetables, expect to find specialty olive oils, cured meats, farm-fresh eggs and dairy, and gorgeous breads. We also love their delectable deli case of sandwiches, salads, and prepared foods. Cookbook is essentially the best of the farmers market, turned into a hip shop. Every neighborhood should have one of these... I guess for now we'll keep making the pilgrimage to Echo Park.
