Warm Water with Lemon
Eat + Drink, Lifestyle

Part of our daily glow comes from drinking warm water with freshly squeezed lemon throughout the day. This is a practice you should certainly pick up!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

As we say, glowing starts from within. Drinking warm water with lemon is one of the best ways to alkalize your body, cleanse, detoxify, hydrate and get in a good dose of vitamin C.

We recommend you drink it in the morning, preferably first thing. Warm water is best (not too hot and not cold) to assimilate to the temperature of your body. But don’t be too crazy on yourself,  just try to drink it throughout the day as much as you can.

Once you start drinking warm water with lemon, you’ll really feel a cleansing energy within your body.

GLOW TIP: Whenever we get to a restaurant, the first thing we ask for is some ‘warm water with lemon,’ and then again at the end of the meal to round things out. It helps with digestion, plus- it’s completely free!

  1. haha i do the same thing at the restaurants ! A friends office that Im working out of, has an amazing lemon tree where i work under all day and get lemons from, its amazingggg.

  2. I’ve read that this can heavily erode the enamel on your teeth. You might want to talk to your dentist before doing this “as much as you can.”

  3. This is a great tip, thanks! If you sometimes forget to have fresh citrus on hand (or it’s out of season), I also find that those little lemon or lime concentrate bottles are great in a pinch.

Or, if you prefer, True Lemon is an inexpensive crystallized natural lemon product that you can use in your cooking or in your water bottle and it tastes yummy with no artificial colors, sweeteners or preservatives. You can buy it for about $4 on Amazon.

    Cheers to health,

  4. Did you know that Grandma Etta, your great grandmother, drank hot water with lemon each morning of her long life? she died at 95…that’s a real testimonial, don’t you think?
